My New Year's Resolution for 2010 was to see at least one art exhibit per month. And believe it or not, I kept it--though with not a minute to lose. In fact, I squeezed in the twelfth show of the year, Gray Collection: Seven Centuries of Art at the Art Institute, just a couple of hours ago. But a win's a win as far as I'm concerned, and so, emboldened by this narrow victory, I've decided to set myself a more ambitious goal for the new year:
In 2011, I resolve to attend every party I'm invited to.
I figure that should return my resolution success rate to where it belongs: hovering near zero. Happy New Year!
