Dog-grooming places are notoriously pun-prone. They always have names like "Waise the Woof" or "Oh My Dog!" or "Bark at the Top of the Stairs" (which would of course have to reside on a building's second floor). As nauseating as the cutesy monikers are, however, I think I prefer them to the name of the business I took my dog Lucy to yesterday: Soggy Paws. I mean, what kind of name is that? It's just a description of what my dog will leave with. Why not call it "Wet Fur" or "Clipped Toenails"?
