One of my sisters was in town over the weekend. We drank margaritas, I took her to a bad play, she went to the Art Institute with Kito, we drank wine, we played rummy, we brunched, I took her to a better play, we drank beer, and she showed off her excellent impersonation of Jenelle's mother on Teen Mom 2. We had a grand old time, but because I let myself fall behind in posting, I never got around to sharing links to last week's mini-reviews for the Reader. We certainly can't have that. And so I give you a few thoughts on Polarity Ensemble Theatre's Ephemera and NUFAN Ensemble's HomeGoing, which has evidently already closed, making my opinions even more irrelevant than usual.
In the coming days I will do my best to get us back on track. Don't you worry.
