Do you ever feel like maybe your brain has run completely out of material and you haven't had a single new thought or idea in days and days and maybe this is the new normal so you should just get a job in a toll booth because then all you'd have to do is make change and after all you'd sort of be outdoors but actually scratch that you'd be sucking down exhaust fumes all day so never mind you'd rather work for the US Parks Department but not in one of the difficult roles where you'd have to rescue campers lost on some treacherous mountain somewhere no you could just take tickets at the park entrance and breathe fresh air and drink coffee and flirt with the other park rangers who would probably all be white Eagle Scout types which would get boring after a while but it's not like you would have to live on the park grounds you could go into town on Saturday nights and surely there would be hot Latinos there somewhere because after all this is America?
Anyone?

My short reviews of Theatre Zarko's Solo Works and A Reasonable Facsimile Theatre Company's The Well of Horniness are in the current Chicago Reader.
I've had that thought every day for the past 5 years. Except I wouldn't mind the nerdy park rangers.
