Last week, as Kito and I were meeting with our mortgage guy, he was telling us about a method of obtaining cheap airline tickets that had been devised by "a group of nerds."

"No disrespect," he hastened to add.

I wanted to ask him which one of us he thought he was offending by disparaging the nerd community, but I was afraid of the answer.
